Ultra Rubber Viola Mute
The Ultra Rubber Viola mute, by Stöhr, is made of a firm rubber material. It has a medium-strong muting effect.
The rubber mute provides a bit less of a clear tone than the metal professional practice mutes but the rubber poses less risk to the viola should the mute should fall off accidentally. Rubber mutes are ideal for practicing.
The mute is positioned on the bridge over the strings. Made by Ultra USA – not to be confused with cheap imitations.
