The Stohr Novara 15″ Viola outfit is an outstanding instrument which has pushed the limits of ‘student instruments’. Designed to play well and offer a good sound from the word go, the Stohr Novara range of instruments not only come from the factory with D’Addario Prelude strings fitted as standard, but every instrument has a full luthier set up ensuring a good sound and optimum playability from the beginning, giving the student the best chance of progressing.
Made with European sourced timber, the Stohr Novara 15″ Viola outfit has a full and rich sound. It has maple back and sides and full ebony fingerboard, pegs and fittings. The alloy tailpiece has four string adjusters and it has a very smart, quality oblong case with space for 2 bows and a shoulder rest. The outfit comes complete with a Brazilwood stick bow and a Stohr Student rosin.
This instrument is available with the standard Ebony tuning pegs or as a FINETUNE model with Wittner finetune pegs. Wittner finetune pegs are geared, making tuning so much easier and more accurate.
